Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Here is the recipe for the Chocalate Chip Cheese Ball that I took to the Academic Honor Reception.

It is really yummy. It is simple to make and there is never any left over.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

1 package (8 oz) of cream cheese-softened
1/2 cup butter-softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
3/4 cup of mini chocolate chips
1/2 cup of finely chopped pecans
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans (to roll the cheese ball in)

Graham crackers, butter cookies, pretzels, ginger cookies

In a bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla, beating with an electric mixer until smooth. Add mini chocolate chips and 1/2 cup pecans. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Shape mixture into a ball and roll in remaining 1/2 pecans. Serve with graham crackers, butter cookies, pretzels, ginger cookies. Makes 8-12 servings
